The THREDDS Data Server (TDS) is a web server that provides metadata and data access for scientific datasets using OPeNDAP, OGC WMS and WCS, HTTP and other remote data access protocols. It is developed and supported by Unidata, a division of UCAR, and the documentation covers installation, configuration, catalogs, NcML and security.
The IRI Data Library compiles climate, geophysical, socio-economic and agricultural data into a common framework for cross-disciplinary research and analysis. It offers free access to hundreds of datasets, mapping tools known as Map Rooms, and training materials. An announcement states the Data Library will soon shut down.
The National Soil Database is a collection of geospatial datasets containing soil, landscape, and climatic data for all of Canada. It serves as the national archive for land resources information collected by federal and provincial field surveys or created by land data analysis projects, including soil name and layer data, pedon data, and soil landscape grids.

It provides analysis tools, metabolite standards, protocols, tutorials and training. It also hosts the National Metabolomics Data Repository, with studies that can be uploaded, browsed, searched and analyzed.
KBase is the Department of Energy Systems Biology Knowledgebase, a software and data science platform for systems biology. It is intended for bench biologists and bioinformaticians, offering digital notebooks called Narratives for shareable, reproducible workflows with data, visualizations and commentary.
The London Datastore is a free and open data-sharing portal providing access to data about the capital, with over a thousand datasets for citizens, businesses, researchers and developers. The beta Data for London Library, launched in 2025, offers search across London data sources and links to additional datasets.
