Information we handle
An account stores your name, email address, password hash, verification status and any profile details you choose to add. Submissions, ownership claims, project images, bookmarks, Shouts, comments, reviews and creator updates are stored when you use those features. We also keep moderation decisions and operational records needed to run and protect the site. Server and security services can receive your IP address, request details and browser information.

Public information
Published projects, profiles, contributions and approved images can be seen by other visitors and search engines. Do not submit private information that you do not want published. Account email addresses, passwords, bookmarks and private ownership evidence are not part of the public profile. Directory records may also come from public project websites or imported directory sources.

Why we use it
We use account and contribution data to provide the services you request, including verification email, password recovery, submission review and account management. We use security and moderation records to prevent abuse and maintain a useful directory. These uses support the service agreement and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the site. If a feature asks for consent, you can withdraw that consent without changing the lawfulness of earlier use.

Cookies, browser storage and providers
Sign-in uses a session cookie. Your browser can remember your theme and directory view preference. Hosting and configured email providers process the information needed to deliver their services. Cloudflare can process requests for delivery, security, Turnstile checks and traffic measurement when enabled. If you open an external project link or a remotely hosted image in a creator update, that provider receives your request and applies its own privacy policy. Providers may process information in other countries; contact us for details about the providers and safeguards used for your request.

Retention and your choices
We keep account and contribution records while they are needed to provide the service. Moderation, security and backup records may need to remain for abuse prevention, recovery or legal obligations. Retention depends on the record and its purpose; contact us for the current details. Removing public content does not instantly remove cached copies held by search engines or independent websites.

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal data, and object to processing where applicable. We may need to verify your identity and consider the rights of other people or legal obligations. Email [email protected] with your request. You can also complain to your data protection authority, including the Spanish Agencia Española de Protección de Datos. Changes to this policy will be published here with a revised effective date.
