Drought Central is a drought observatory by CNR IBE that publishes drought situation bulletins and a WebGIS. The site notes that some content is available only in Italian and includes a bulletins archive, press review, and X profile links.
The ESO Science Archive Facility stores and provides access to data from ESO telescopes at the La Silla Paranal Observatory, including the APEX submillimeter telescope. It holds raw data with corresponding calibrations and selected contributed or ESO-generated products. Principal Investigators have exclusive access to their data during a proprietary period, normally one year. Browsing does not require authentication.
The European Soil Data Centre (ESDAC) is a resource hosted by the European Commission Joint Research Centre, focused on soil-related data and knowledge. It is part of the EU Soil Observatory, and provides datasets, maps, documents and indicators covering topics including soil properties, erosion and soil threats.
Research data portal for exploring biology records, including dataset.
Galaxy Zoo is a Zooniverse volunteer project where participants classify telescope images of distant galaxies by shape to help astronomers understand galaxy formation. Early data from the Vera C. Rubin Observatory is shown in the Rubin workflow. Volunteers' classifications are backed up by the work of others.
The GAVO Data Center is operated by Zentrum für Astronomie Heidelberg for the German Astrophysical Virtual Observatory. It provides access to numerous tables via TAP or form-based ADQL and lists services including ADQL queries, cone searches, spectra and catalogues such as Gaia, Hipparcos and ROSAT data.
The Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) mission is an international network of satellites providing global observations of rain and snow. It centers on a Core Observatory satellite with an advanced radar/radiometer system that measures precipitation from space and serves as a reference standard to unify measurements from a constellation of research and operational satellites. The mission was initiated by NASA and JAXA as a successor to TRMM.
The IAU Minor Planet Center is described as the official body for astrometric observations and orbits of minor planets and comets. It receives and distributes positional measurements, and is responsible for identification, designation and orbit computation, maintaining observation and orbit files and announcing discoveries through electronic circulars and its website. The MPC operates at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory under Division F of the International Astronomical Union.
The IPGP Data Center manages and distributes several types of data from networks including the Geoscope Observatory and the volcanological and seismological observatories of Guadeloupe, Martinique, Réunion and Mayotte. It also provides access to validated earthquake data and volcano activity reports, and hosts the IPGP Research Collection for sharing and preserving research data and documents.
The Croydon Observatory is an information sharing, mapping and reporting website providing access to data and information about Croydon. It is intended for local government, community and voluntary organisations, partnership members, businesses, students and the public, with data viewable by themes such as population, economy and employment, housing, crime and health. Ward data uses a best fit approach for the 28 new wards.
A research and engineering facility operated by Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, consisting of an Air-Sea Interaction Tower one mile off Martha's Vineyard's south shore and a Meteorological Mast on South Beach. Its instruments provide real-time and archived coastal oceanographic and meteorological data for researchers, students and the general public.
Research data portal for exploring atmospheric records, including observational data.
OONI, the Open Observatory of Network Interference, is a global community measuring internet censorship. OONI Probe tests the blocking of websites and apps and measures network speed and performance, while OONI Explorer displays censorship data collected from over 200 countries since 2012.
A Leeds City Council page that links to the council's open data resources, including Data Mill North, council data on data.gov.uk, and the Leeds Observatory. It also provides access to terms and licences and the EU reuse of public sector information directive.
PhenoCam is a cooperative continental-scale phenological observatory that uses imagery from networked digital cameras to track vegetation phenology across ecosystems. Its image archive includes over 60 million pictures, and imagery and data are made publicly available in near-real time. The PhenoCam Dataset V3.0 includes almost 5000 site-years of data from 738 sites.
Pomona College Magazine covers the experiences of the college's alumni, students, faculty and staff. The Fall 2026 issue includes features on the Table Mountain Observatory, the Pomona College Organic Farm, composting research on Lopez Island, campus news and books by Sagehens.
The Analytical Geomagnetic Data Center of the Trans-Regional INTERMAGNET Segment is operated by the Geophysical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It offers interactive access to magnetic observatory data from Russia and nearby states, plus spaceborne data products. The MAGNUS system provides automated real-time recognition of artificial disturbances and estimation of geomagnetic activity.
The Science Data Centre (SDC) of the Leibniz-Institute for Solarphysics is a service for storing and managing openly accessible processed solar observation data and MHD simulations. It focuses on curation, archiving and distribution of ground-based solar data from telescopes at the El Teide Observatory on Tenerife, and on developing pipelines and analysis tools. An online archive is available.
The Solar Data Analysis Center (SDAC) at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center serves solar images, solar news, solar data, and solar research. It develops and maintains scientific research infrastructure supporting NASA's Heliophysics Science Division. Data from the PUNCH mission is available via the Virtual Solar Observatory and direct download, and the site links to the SOHO project and Solar Monitor.
The SKA Observatory is an intergovernmental organisation building two large telescope arrays in South Africa and Australia through global collaboration. Its stated science goals concern exploring the Universe, and the project covers handling large volumes of data.
SSHADE is an interoperable solid spectroscopy database infrastructure providing spectral and photometric data from gamma to radio wavelengths. Measured samples include ices, minerals, rocks, organic and carbonaceous materials, and liquids. It contains specialized databases from various research groups, mostly from Europe, and can also be searched through the VESPA virtual observatory.
