The Meteorological & Oceanographic Satellite Data Archival Centre (MOSDAC) is a data centre operated by the Space Applications Centre (SAC) of the Indian Space Research Organisation. It handles the reception, processing, analysis and dissemination of meteorological and oceanographic satellite data. The centre provides public access to satellite and in-situ datasets, weather and ocean forecasts, radar products, and data related to atmospheric conditions, soil moisture, sea surface salinity, ocean currents and other relevant geophysical parameters.
The International Genome Sample Resource maintains and shares human genetic variation resources built by the 1000 Genomes Project. It updates these resources to the current reference assembly, adds new data sets from project samples, and includes data from other openly consented samples. Data sets are explored through a data portal, and a public API queries samples, populations, data collections, analysis groups and files.
The Global Terrorism Database is an open-source database of terrorist events worldwide from 1970 through 2020, with more than 200,000 cases. Each incident entry covers the date and location, weapons used, target nature, casualties and, when identifiable, the responsible group or individual. Data is drawn from open media sources and added only after source credibility is determined.
The TU Graz Repository is an institutional platform for uploading and publishing research outputs, including theses, research data and other works. Each upload receives a DOI and access can be open or restricted, with records checked before publication and versioning supported. Usage statistics track record page visits and file downloads. A search guide and recommended long-term preservation file formats are provided.
This dataset documents a PhD study of avian biodiversity across forest age-classes in a managed mixed-species eucalypt forest in Gippsland, Victoria. Bird surveys and habitat measurements were conducted in fifty two-hectare stands; wildfire reduced analyzed sites to 28. Findings noted greater bird richness, abundance and biomass in mature stands over 100 years. Licensed CC BY NC 3.0.
