Boola Boola Forest bird study
This dataset documents a PhD study of avian biodiversity across forest age-classes in a managed mixed-species eucalypt forest in Gippsland, Victoria. Bird surveys and habitat measurements were conducted in fifty two-hectare stands; wildfire reduced analyzed sites to 28. Findings noted greater bird richness, abundance and biomass in mature stands over 100 years. Licensed CC BY NC 3.0.
