The Dark Patterns Tip Line collects reports of dark patterns, described as design tactics in websites and apps that persuade people into actions they would not otherwise take. A team of designers, academic researchers, legal experts and policy specialists leads the project. Submissions are reviewed before posting and may be used in research or to illustrate dark patterns to the public, media and policymakers.
