Wormhole Crypto is a package providing streaming encryption for Wormhole.app, based on Encrypted Content-Encoding for HTTP (RFC 8188). It is used by Wormhole.app and offered under the MIT license. It provides a Keychain class for creating encryption and decryption streams and for encrypting or decrypting metadata buffers.
WebWormhole creates ephemeral pipes between computers to send files or other data, using WebRTC for connections with a model similar to Magic Wormhole. It can be used in browsers or on the command line, where a one-time code establishes the connection. The project states it is still in early development and has not had security or cryptography review.
