VeraCrypt is disk encryption software based on the original TrueCrypt 7.1a with security enhancements and modifications. Its source code is distributed under the terms in the included License.txt, which requires that derived works not be called TrueCrypt or VeraCrypt. Build instructions cover Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, FreeBSD and OpenBSD.
