PortableAppZ offers portable applications that run from a removable drive on Windows computers without installation, preserving settings on the drive rather than the host. Entries include portable Chrome, Chromium, SRWare Iron, Thunderbird and Opera builds. The site notes turning off User Account Control or running the launcher as admin on Vista and above.
