berty.tech
Berty is a nonprofit project building a privacy-first peer-to-peer messenger on the Wesh network. Conversations use end-to-end encryption in a distributed network, with messaging over Bluetooth Low Energy that needs no network connection. Data is stored only on the device, and the software is described as forthcoming and open source.
