The Ocean Tracking Network is an aquatic animal tracking, data management, and partnership platform based at Dalhousie University in Canada. Its data centre collects, aggregates, cross-references, preserves, and disseminates aquatic telemetry data, and aims to inform global biogeographical information systems such as OBIS as data becomes publicly accessible under the OTN Data Policy. A map lists affiliated projects filterable by collection, contact, country, or species.
The Polar Data Catalogue is a repository of metadata and data describing datasets from Arctic and Antarctic researchers. Its records follow ISO 19115 and FGDC formats for exchange with other data centres and span natural sciences, policy, health and social sciences. It offers public search tools and lets registered partner researchers upload metadata and data.
BCCDC Data is the data and reports section of the BC Centre for Disease Control website. It hosts public health-related data and reports aligned with the organization's service areas, including immunization, antibiotic resistance, hepatitis, and population and public health surveillance.
The JRC Data Catalogue is the data catalogue of the European Commission Joint Research Centre. It provides access to 4315 datasets and 257 collections covering topics including environment, energy, climate change, and agriculture. The platform offers SPARQL search, a catalogue API, and links to related EU data resources.
The CDPP is the French national data centre for natural plasmas of the solar system. Created in 1998 by CNES and INSU, it preserves data primarily from instruments built using French resources and makes them accessible to the international community. It also offers online services including data analysis, 3D visualisation, a propagation tool and a space weather tool.
SeaDataNet is a pan-European distributed marine data infrastructure designed to facilitate access to marine data from countries bordering European seas. It connects more than 110 national oceanographic and marine data centres across 35 countries, provides metadata services, and uses common standards including ISO 19115 for metadata and harmonized data transport formats to support interoperability.
The World Data Center for Aerosols is the data repository and archive for atmospheric aerosol microphysical, optical, and chemical property data, operated as part of the World Meteorological Organisation’s Global Atmosphere Watch programme. The centre supports long-term aerosol measurements to detect trends in global air chemical constituent distributions, with a focus on characterising the spatio-temporal distribution of aerosol properties related to climate forcing and air quality across regional, hemispheric, and global scales over multi-decadal time periods. It curates core long-term aerosol observation parameters including particle number concentration, size distribution, mass concentration, and cloud condensation nuclei concentration.
aviDa is a research data centre for audio-visual data of empirical qualitative social research, developed in cooperation between the Technische Universität Berlin and the University of Bayreuth. It aims to share videographic research data and open it for reuse in research and teaching.
Bhoonidhi is a satellite data portal from India's National Remote Sensing Centre. It allows users to browse, search, order and download open or priced data from various IRS missions, Landsat-8, Sentinel 1 and 2, NovaSAR and NISAR S-SAR daily processed collections. An API is released for satellite data access via a contact address.
