dbGaP is a database developed by NCBI to archive and distribute data and results from studies investigating the interaction of genotype and phenotype in humans. It offers sections for finding studies, requesting controlled data, and submitting studies, along with public files and supporting resources such as FAQs and tutorials.
The Open Exoplanet Catalogue is a decentralized, open-source database of discovered extrasolar planets. The website displays the catalogue in a browser, while the data is stored as human-readable XML files in a git version control system. Contributions and corrections are accepted from professional astronomers and the public, and data can be downloaded from the GitHub repository.
PRISM Climate Data is a project of the PRISM Group at Oregon State University that gathers weather observations, applies quality control and mapping methods, and develops spatial datasets showing short- and long-term weather patterns. Datasets cover 1895 to the present and are offered free of charge, with bulk downloads and single grid cell time series.
TurtleSAT is a citizen science platform focused on freshwater turtle monitoring. It allows users to record observations including turtle sightings, nests, pest activity, and control efforts, and provides tools to filter and map turtle activity data. The platform offers a mobile app for data entry, aims to reduce fox predation on turtles, and partners with community supporters and organizations such as the Australian Reptile Park.

Data Version Control - Git for Data & Models - ML Experiments Management.
ECDC collects, analyses and shares data on over 50 infectious disease topics. Its experts assess risks to Europe and give guidance to help countries prevent and respond to outbreaks and public health threats. The site publishes updates, surveillance reports and assessments.
lakeFS is a source-available data version control tool that turns object storage into a Git-like repository, allowing data lakes to be managed like code. It supports AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage and Google Cloud Storage, is API compatible with S3, and works with frameworks such as Spark, Hive, AWS Athena, DuckDB and Presto.
The National Forestry Database is a Canadian resource that collects and compiles national forest data and forest management statistics. Its topics include forestry highlights, wood supply, forest fires, forest insects, harvest, regeneration, revenues, pest control, and provincial and territorial profiles. It is available in English and French.
The Tropical Atmosphere Ocean Project, operated by NOAA's Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory, oversees the Global Tropical Moored Buoy Array. It provides data display and delivery, including animations, plots, and quality-controlled observations from TAO, TRITON, PIRATA, and RAMA buoy networks.
The U.S. Joint Global Ocean Flux Study (U.S. JGOFS) was a national component of international JGOFS, launched in the late 1980s to study the ocean carbon cycle. Its goal was to understand the controls on the concentrations and fluxes of carbon and associated nutrients in the ocean. The program ended in 2005 with the conclusion of the Synthesis and Modeling Project (SMP).
Database of Drosophila embryogenesis gene expression patterns generated with a high-throughput RNA in situ protocol. Expression patterns are documented with digital embryo images, annotated with controlled vocabulary, and stored in a modified Gene Ontology database. The dataset is browsable, searchable, and downloadable.
CGSpace is a repository that identifies, locates and allows downloading of research and other outputs produced across CGIAR and its partners. Content is organized in communities and collections and includes outputs from CGIAR's research portfolio, research centers and hosted content of other organizations and programs. Users can browse collections, search using free or controlled terms and filters, and generate reports.
