The Maddison Project was initiated in March 2010 by colleagues of Angus Maddison to support cooperation between scholars continuing his work on measuring economic performance across regions, time periods and subtopics. Its database builds on Maddison's original dataset, keeping original estimates intact and revising them only when better information is available. His unaltered final dataset remains available on the Original Maddison Homepage.
Worldwide Protein Data Bank
The Worldwide Protein Data Bank (wwPDB) is the organization that manages the Protein Data Bank archive, the single global repository of three-dimensional structural data for proteins, nucleic acids, and complex assemblies, which has operated since 1971. The wwPDB maintains the archive and provides resources including validation tools, deposition systems, data dictionaries, and policies for the structural biology community.
