PrivTracker is a private BitTorrent tracker that allows torrent files to be shared only with friends. It shares peers only within a group using the same announce URL and keeps files off public networks like DHT. Torrents can be generated with one click, and only one person in the group needs an open port for everyone to download.
Torrage is a free service for caching torrent files online. Torrents cannot be searched or listed; files are accessible only by those who already know the torrent's info_hash value, using a URL that includes the info_hash in hex. The site states it does not track content, run its own trackers, or log uploader and downloader IP addresses.
FossTorrents T2M is a Javascript tool that converts .torrent files to magnet URIs. Users drop .torrent files onto the page or open them through a file browser, and Javascript is required for the inline converter.
Cross-platform application intended to create and edit .torrent and uTorrent .dat files. It can create a .torrent file from scratch, add or remove files, and change torrent information such as name, comment, publisher, url, creation date, trackers and author. It supports a command line mode and is portable.
AutoDL-Irssi is a torrent index or resource page for searching listings, metadata, forums, or tracker information.
A blog post describing how to download torrents anonymously through I2P, a free anonymity network. It covers installing I2P, configuring Firefox to use its proxy, and using I2PSnark, noting that clearnet tracker torrents usually do not work inside I2P and only peers running I2P can connect.
Seedr is an online service that imports files from links into personal cloud storage. Files can be viewed in a built-in cloud player and saved to any device without installing software. It also connects to media servers and cloud storage.
