The Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) is a set of large-scale United States surveys covering families, individuals, their medical providers, and employers. It is the most complete source of data on U.S. health care costs, health care use, and health insurance coverage. The survey is conducted by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, part of the Department of Health and Human Services.
