The Leiden Open Variation Database (LOVD) is an open source, GPL-licensed system for the collection, display and curation of genomic variant and phenotype data. LOVD 3.0 supports both patient-centered and gene-centered views of DNA variants. The project maintains a public list of LOVD installations and locus-specific databases, and the central Leiden server offers free hosting and support for LOVD-powered gene variant databases. The system is actively under development.
The ISIMIP Repository is a searchable archive of climate impact model data. It holds input data such as climate forcing, socioeconomic forcing and static geographic information, plus output data across sectors including agriculture, terrestrial biodiversity, biomes, fire, regional forests, temperature-related mortality, lakes and fisheries. Users search by simulation round, covering ISIMIP2a through ISIMIP4b.

It catalogs and submits underway environmental sensor data from research expeditions to long-term public archives, including the NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information. Vessel operators submit cruise data directly. R2R supplies documentation, standard products and tools for documenting shipboard data acquisition, plus post-cruise quality assessment and near-real-time meteorological data assessment.
DataCat: The Research Data Catalogue is a research data catalogue with deposit, search and browse functions. The catalogue now functions as a read-only repository, with dataset deposit performed via Elements. It supports OAI 2.0.
MindBigData is an open archive of brain signals, including EEG datasets such as the "MNIST" of Brain Digits and MNIST-8B with over eight billion data points. It also lists brain signal hardware devices compatible with the data, ranging from 128-channel caps to a planned 1024-channel device.
