BOLD, the Barcode of Life Data Systems, is a data portal for identifying species through DNA barcodes. It provides access to over 21.1m public records representing 1.7m species, with the remaining records awaiting validation and release. BOLDv5 has a redesigned layout, while BOLDv4 remains accessible at v4.boldsystems.org.
The Digitale Sammlungen is the online portal of the Münchener DigitalisierungsZentrum (MDZ), which since 1997 has brought holdings of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek to the internet. The site offers search across digitised manuscripts, prints, music, maps, photographs, newspapers and journals, available via IIIF. It also lists selected collections and data services such as download options and interfaces.

The Avian Knowledge Network is a partnership of federal and state agencies and non-governmental organizations with shared informatics needs for biodiversity conservation and management. It is a cloud computing system that agencies, NGOs and others use to enter, manage, analyze and share avian observation data, and it offers tools for collecting, entering, uploading, managing, accessing and summarizing bird monitoring data.
