MetaStrip is a browser-based tool that removes metadata from photos, videos, PDFs and documents, including GPS, camera and author details plus AI tags and C2PA Content Credentials. It runs entirely client-side, so files are not uploaded, and reads metadata locally with libraries such as piexifjs and pdf-lib. It supports batch processing of up to 100 files and is open source under MIT.
