MKVToolNix is a set of tools to create, alter and inspect Matroska files under Linux, other Unices and Windows. It includes the programs mkvmerge, mkvinfo, mkvextract, mkvpropedit and the MKVToolNix GUI. The Matroska libraries and tools have been officially available since May 1st 2003.
