BitFlu is a free BitTorrent client written in Perl and designed to run as a daemon on Linux, *BSD and possibly OSX. It has no GUI; users connect via telnet or http (AJAX). It can chroot itself and drop privileges, offers bandwidth shaping and uses a non-blocking design for connections.
