The Arctic Council Open Access Archive is the official repository of the Arctic Council, a high-level intergovernmental forum formally established in 1996 to promote cooperation, coordination and interaction among Arctic states on sustainable development and environmental protection in the Arctic, with the involvement of Arctic Indigenous communities and other inhabitants. The repository holds reports and assessments produced by the Arctic Council, with recent submissions covering Indigenous knowledge mobilization for emergency management, analysis of Arctic radiological and nuclear emergency response capabilities, and Arctic Council staff rules.
