YouTube Spammer Purge is a code project with source, releases, documentation, or setup notes.
A site by Riley Walz presenting a bot that crawled YouTube and found 5 million videos uploaded with default IMG_XXXX filenames. It notes that iPhones between 2009 and 2012 included a "Send to YouTube" button in the Photos app, and many uploads kept their default filenames. The videos are shown ordered randomly.
vidIQ is a free browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge that overlays YouTube and Instagram with creator tools. On YouTube it provides SEO scores, keyword suggestions, AI title, description and tag recommendations, competitor overlays, and a studio upload optimizer with posting-time suggestions. On Instagram it offers Reel ideas, hook and engagement scoring, and a caption and hashtag generator.
Tweaks for YouTube is a browser extension for YouTube and YouTube Music. It provides mouse and keyboard shortcuts for seeking, volume, speed and other player actions, and includes options for audio processing such as Auto Gain and Mono Mix.
A guide describing how to combine personal YouTube playlists and non-editable YouTube-generated playlists into one consolidated, editable playlist that the user owns. It outlines steps including creating a new playlist, adding videos, organizing order, and sharing.
MW Metadata gathers metadata about a YouTube video, playlist, or channel from the YouTube API. Users submit a link or ID, and the tool supports reverse image search of thumbnails, geolocation in Google Maps, and translation of ISO country and language codes. Results can be exported as a zip file or shared.
A free web tool for finding and viewing comments on public YouTube videos and Shorts. Users paste a video URL and search comments by keyword, phrase, or @mention, with results showing author, timestamp, like count and replies. It requires no login, API key, or browser extension.
