Vijay's Virtual Vibes is an internet gachapon-style website curated by Vijay Shah. It lets users randomly browse a large collection of online content including digital art, relaxing and unusual sites, soundscapes, games, videos, web poetry and other internet projects. The site uses a Kitty Telly interface to start browsing, includes a radio feature and site submission option, and carries an epilepsy warning for flashing content on linked sites.
Pranx is a website offering online computer pranks to play on friends, such as opening a prank page on an unattended computer. The site notes that full screen can be toggled with F11 to hide the address bar and browser frame, and that pranks work best on a desktop computer or tablet.
Iceberger is an interactive web tool that allows users to draw an iceberg to visualize how it will float. It notes that icebergs are less dense than water, so approximately 10% of their mass sits above the water surface. The tool approximates flotation behavior, as real-world iceberg floating is also influenced by three-dimensional mass distribution and relative density to water. The project was inspired by a 2021 tweet from @GlacialMeg advocating for scientists to draw icebergs in their stable orientations.
BoredButton is a website centered on a red button; clicking it takes visitors to one of hundreds of interactive websites selected to alleviate boredom. The site presents itself as a remedy for people who say they are bored.
ShindanMaker is an entertainment website where users can create and share original diagnoses and fortune-telling content. It offers multiple diagnosis types including name-based, branching, AI-powered (ChatGPT), and score-based check diagnoses, and hosts a library of user-created content.
Jumpstick is a guide for discovering interesting websites through curated topic collections. Users select a topic and click a jump button to explore sites, and a Chrome extension is offered.
Cube Rule is a miscellaneous web resource for discovery, directories, archives, web culture, or useful tools.
