When computers sleep, the software creates morphing abstract animations called sheep, shared over the internet; viewers may vote for favorites, driving a genetic algorithm that evolves the flock. It is described as a free and open source service, with HD Gold Sheep offered as a premium version.
ScreenPlay is an open source live-wallpaper app for Windows and OSX. It displays wallpapers and desktop widgets; it is written in C++20/Qt6/QML, and Windows and OSX binaries with workshop support are available via Steam.
