Mixxx is free, open-source DJ software for performing live mixes with digital music files. It provides four decks, BPM and musical key detection, Sync Lock, hotcues, beat looping, effects chains and multiple equalizers. It includes built-in mappings for DJ controller hardware, a programmable mapping system for MIDI or HID devices, and support for lossless and lossy audio formats.
