   MyGrandmothersLingo

My Grandmother’s Lingo is a voice-activated interactive animation published by SBS that tells the story of a young Aboriginal woman fighting to preserve the critically endangered Marra Indigenous language. The experience lasts roughly 10 minutes, with each Marra word a user learns unlocking a new chapter of the narrative. Full functionality requires microphone access and is optimized for desktop use on Chrome or Firefox browsers. The project notes a language is lost globally every two weeks, and over 90% of Australia’s Indigenous languages are critically endangered.

   Oracle

Oracle is an interactive web program that analyzes patterns in a user's left and right arrow key inputs to predict their next keystroke. It is typically correct around 70% of the time, as humans struggle to act randomly. The program records each keystroke, compares the frequency of subsequent left or right inputs after matching four-keystroke sequences, and guesses the more common outcome. A similar approach can be applied to Rock-Paper-Scissors.

Interactive graphs are available for users with JavaScript enabled, while non-JavaScript users see an outdated static PNG version. The page creator also hosts other recreational content.
