A Chrome extension that restores the pre-2018 ability to look up the Facebook account linked to an email address, subject to privacy settings. It requires the user to be logged in to a Facebook account while the page is active, and returns the profile ID and profile image when a match is found.
The Facebook Friends List Generator is a Chrome extension published in version 1.0 on October 20, 2019. It is presented as a tool for OSINT investigations where a user's friend list cannot be viewed due to privacy settings, offering an alternative to reviewing likes and comments on a timeline. The author notes the source code is obfuscated and that antivirus software may flag it.
Facebook Entity Id Parser is a Chrome extension, version 1.0, published September 8, 2019. The page states that the developer obfuscates source code in the Chrome extensions they develop, and that some antivirus software or Windows Defender may alert them as a possible trojan. It is listed alongside other extensions including OSINT and SOCMINT tooling.
A Chrome extension for finding the numeric profile ID of a Facebook account. The page explains that Facebook accounts have unique profile IDs and that personalised usernames can appear in the address bar instead. It notes that other websites already convert such URLs to IDs and states the extension aims to make the process more user friendly.
Facebook Search is an experimental web page that forms search links showing how the current Facebook search function works after Graph search was closed. It supports searches for posts, people, photos, pages, places, videos, events and top search elements. The tool is made by sowdust and described as completely free and open.
News Feed Eradicator is an open source browser extension that removes the news feed, intended to let users get back to communicating with friends. It is installed to Chrome and can be disabled or removed from the browser's extensions settings.
Who Posted What? is described as a non-public Facebook keyword search for people who work in the public interest, letting users search keywords on specific dates. Searches can be by year, month, exact date or a time range, and posts from or associated with a user or page can also be searched.
