Colorword is a project website where people submit the colors they associate with words, and the collected answers form a combined picture of color combinations for each word. It also offers tips and lets users who answer all the words receive a link to suggest new words.
Genetic Cars 2 is an HTML5 web simulation that uses a simple genetic algorithm to evolve random two-wheeled shapes into functional cars over successive generations. It uses the box2d physics engine, includes configurable simulation parameters such as mutation rate and gravity settings, and offers a separate LEGO brick-themed variant. Users can save and restore population data and view replays of top-performing cars.
Random Prnt.sc is a fun project that locates random publicly available images stored on Prnt.sc. Due to cross-origin resource sharing constraints, each random image opens in a new browser tab rather than being embedded directly on the page. Opening too many images in quick succession may result in the user's IP being blocked from accessing Prnt.sc, with 5 images at once identified as a safe limit.
The Life Engine is a virtual ecosystem that allows organisms to reproduce, compete, and evolve. Each organism is made up of different colored cells, and hovering over each color explains its function. The project includes sections for Simulation Speed, Grid Size, Reset Options, Evolution Controls, Statistics, and Community Creations, which cover Worlds, Organisms, and Mods.
Short Trip is a hand-drawn interactive work by Alexander Perrin focused on a tram driver, with elements including mountains and cloaked cats. A free web version is available, and a standalone purchasable release launches on Steam on December 11, 2024, adding a new scheduled mode and extra bonus features. The work supports optional audio toggles.
Wonder of Wonder Art is a miscellaneous web resource for discovery, directories, archives, web culture, or useful tools.
MoodLight is a free online strobe, disco, party and mood light that turns a computer screen into a color-changing light. Users choose colors to match their mood and set the color change speed. The page warns that people sensitive to flashing lights or with photosensitive epilepsy should not use the application.
