Capture2Text is a free, GPL-licensed Windows utility that OCRs a portion of the screen using a keyboard shortcut and saves the resulting text to the clipboard by default. It supports Windows 7, 8/8.1 and 10 and packages several OCR languages, with additional language dictionaries installable.

It includes EXIF display for JPEG, batch format conversion with resizing, animation display for GIF and WebP, and direct viewing of images in archive files without extraction. Bandisoft states there will be no more updates for Honeyview and directs users to BandiView.
